About me
Anthony W. Scott, Esq., is an attorney, author, Marine Corps veteran, and community leader who believes lasting fulfillment comes from authentically aligning passion, purpose, and paycheck. By day, he serves as Director of Housing and Community Development for Cuyahoga County, where he leads efforts to expand access to safe, affordable housing and strengthen communities. Beyond his professional responsibilities, he pursues his passion for writing, speaking, and mentoring through I.S.I. Publishing LLC—living what he describes as his “9-5 and 5-9.” A first-generation college graduate from East Cleveland, Ohio, Scott’s work centers on leadership, authenticity, resilience, and helping others overcome self-limiting beliefs. His growing body of nonfiction books includes Unlocking Potential: Insights, Tips & Strategies for Young Black Professionals, Overcoming Imposter Syndrome: You Belong at the Table!, and Passion. Purpose. Paycheck.: The 3Ps to Career Fulfillment. His fourth nonfiction book, Fitting 25 into 24: Time, Energy and Boundary Management for High Achievers, will be released in late 2026. Scott also writes adult urban fiction and is the author of “Yes Mrs. Smith”: More Money than Time: Book 1, with The Vault and Meet the Sullivans: More Money than Time, Book 2, forthcoming. Through his work, writing, and speaking, Scott empowers leaders and professionals to embrace authenticity, establish healthy boundaries, and define success beyond titles and compensation. He believes true wealth is measured not only by what we earn, but by the lives we impact, the people we serve, and the legacy we leave behind.
